I have Panasonic CQ-C1303NE.
I need information about its remote control operation capabilities. It has an IR receiver for optional IR Remote control unit. In adition it has one separate wire, described in the booklet as
"Вьiводноъ провод внешнего дистанционного управления.
В случае использования внешнего дистанционного управления, иного, чем марки Panasonic, следует перед подключением обращаться к изготовителю продукции."
But there is nothing more writen in the booklet.

I want to connect the CD Player to the steering wheel buttons. I found a man who made this for the same car but with SONY player. He found information about the type of signals that the player needs to recognize separate functions. It needs an exact resistence between the active wire and ground to find out which button is pressed. And they look like that:
0 Ω Off
2.2k Ω Source
4.4k Ω Mute
6.6k Ω List(Disp)
8.8k Ω Seek up
12.1k Ω Seek down
16.8k Ω Volume up
23.6k Ω Volume down
33.6k Ω Select
48.6k Ω Mode

He opened the steering wheel and changed all resistors.

I want to find out if my player can be connected this way.

A, very funny!

You just need to test this remote wire. Try different resistors to find out. If HU does not react it means that you cant use this wire. But I think everything will be ok :)
